Week 38 - #FeedtheFifteen

Sorry in the delay of Cam's email. Things have been a little crazy around here. She is doing great and the work is going well. She is proud of her scar. She is excited to be on Facebook and somewhat in touch with so many people. Transfers are this week and it will mark the 1/2 way mark of Camri's mission. Make sure to check out her blog for this weeks pics. Sisterjenseninyakima.blogspot.com

Guess what?? My zone gets to go to the temple on Wednesday! PUMPED!Something I think is pretty awesome from this week is that my zone set a goal to find 15 new investigators.  The "Standard of Excellence" for my mission is 3 new investigators per week per companionship.  So that adds up to 15 for the zone.  And we did it! We all prayed about it everyday to find the people that God was preparing.  And at 8:50 last night, the Elders found the 15th investigator for the week! Hard work and prayer makes the difference :') Thats also why the subject line is #FeedtheFifteen. Christ said "Feed my sheep", so thats where that comes from.
Yesterday at church we had quite a bit of people there! Debbie came! We have only taught Debbie part of the Restoration and we have read the Book of Mormon with her.  She listens to it on the Gospel Library App every morning and loves it! She usually works sunday mornings but for some reason wasn't scheduled so she was able to come to church! I was really nervous though because Sister Shuldberg and I were teaching Gospel Principles and the lesson was the Word of Wisdom.  We haven't taught Debbie about it yet and I wasn't sure how she would take it... But at the end of the lesson she announced that she had a lot to work on but she was going to try and live the Word of Wisdom! I was like Oh my goodness this is a miracle! Can I get a hallelujah?!  Joyce was also there and I was nervous how she would take it too.  But at the end of the lesson, she asked if she could take the gospel Principles book home to share with her friend because she thinks the Word of Wisdom could really help her.  God is SO good.  It turned out WAY better than I expected.
More exciting news: we started teaching Juttas other two daughters! We were already teaching Scarlet but Ana and Angie sat in on our last lesson and Ana has come to church a few times with Jutta.  Jutta is being such a good example to them and her other family members.  Its amazing to see what a good missionary she is so early in her conversion!
Oh! We went to the doctor for Sister Shuldbergs ankle.  The doctor said that its a high ankle sprain so takes a while to heal.  She has to use crutches for a few weeks :/ But! He looked at my dog bite and good news! Its not infected! hahah not that I was worried. Just thought I'd let y'all know.
This morning in my personal studies I was reading a talk about the symbolism behind the Good Samaritan story.  Its incredible! There is a lot to it that I had never even thought about before. I attached a link so y'all could go check it out.  I learned a lot from it. https://www.lds.org/ensign/2007/02/the-good-samaritan-forgotten-symbols?lang=eng
Transfer calls are this Saturday so I'll have the deets for ya next week. Love you all! Be good.  :)
