Week 39 - I'm off to the Promised Land!

Camri got her wish. Last week she told me that is she was to get transferred she wanted to go to Wenatchee. I looked it up on the map and it is about an hour or so further Northwest of where she is. It looks like it is some beautiful country. Now for the 64 million dollar question…how is she going to get everything packed by Wednesday and get all those dishes done in her picture. The picture where she is making banana bread on the floor reminded me of when she was a little girl and we fed her cereal on the floor…just kidding. Anyway as you can read, she is doing great. She is officially halfway through her mission. The time sure has gone fast. Her parting words to me were, "I will see you Sunday when we skype." she didn't bother telling me what time or from where. This ought to be an interesting set up. I guess I can always messenger her on FB.
Have a great week and thanks for your support.

We got transfer calls on Saturday night and I'm going to Wenatchee! I've heard some missionaries say that its the promised land in the mission so I'm really excited about it! Another exciting thing about transfers is that i'll be in a YSA ward again! WAHOOOO! Bombdiggity.  My new companion is going to be Sister Baggett.  I served around her in Moses Lake, so I know a little bit about her.  From what I can tell, I think we are going to get along really good! Oh also, Sister Baggett and I are going to be doubled in.  Which means that they took both of the missionaries that were there before us out of the area, and both her and I will be brand new.  So we won't have a clue about anything when we first get there.  Its going to be interesting!
I'm sure a lot of you saw my post on Facebook, but the temple trip was awesome! Always is.  It makes me excited to be back in Utah again where I can go to the temple all the time!
Yesterday in Sacrament meeting, a man named Brother Norris bore his testimony.  We ate with him and his wife the other day and we committed him to go and talk to his neighbor that we had given a Book of Mormon to.  His neighbors name is "Catfish".  Well, we met Catfish a while back and hes the guy that told us he "could see Jesus in our eyes".  We didn't talk to him for too long and he didn't invite us to come back.  But when Brother Norris went and talked to him, he said something so cool! He told Brother Norris that when we left, he went in and told his wife that two angels had just came to the door.  He said immediately after we left, he regretted not letting us in and felt like he needed to talk to us more.  He also said that the Book of Mormon that we gave him was so precious and he promised he was going to read it.
How amazing is that?! Its proof that sometimes we don't know the impact we can have.  Sister Shuldberg and I meet a lot of people and give away a lot of Book of Mormons.  But we don't always get to know what happens after we walk away.
We went on a picnic with Jutta and her daughters on Saturday and Scarlet wanted me to show her what would happen when she got baptized.  So I showed her how they would hold her and stuff and then she shouted "mom! I just got air baptized!!" hahah it was so funny.
Oh yeah, on Saturday the members that fed us dinner told us to bring a change of clothes because we were going out to A-I cows.  We weren't really sure what that meant.... but boy did we find out.  Hahaha wow.  The Miracle of LIfe is a beautiful thing, aint it?
I can't believe how much I've grown to love the people in Ephrata.  I feel so at home here! I've realized that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can do that.  With the Gospel, you can always have a home anywhere you go.  Someone yesterday in testimony meeting said "The church is true in Wenatchee too.  Its not as cool as Ephrata... but its still true".  Hahah he is so right.  The church is true wherever you go!
NOTHING can bring the same kind of happiness that the Gospel brings.  I am so happy that I am here in Washington to tell people about that happiness.  :)
LOVE YOU ALL!!!
