Week 42 - What does the Book of Mormon mean to you?

Jeremy got baptized on Saturday!!! He was so happy. He hasn't stopped smiling since. All of the sisters that have taught him were able to come to the baptism, even the one that has gone home FaceTimed in for it!
We had exchanges with the STL's on Friday and exchanged back on Saturday right before the baptism. It was pretty stressful! Hahah hermana Green and I were on our way to the church when Sister Baggett called and asked us if we could bring as many towels as we could to the church. They flooded it! I guess someone unlocked the door to turn on the faucet but then shut the door and didn't leave the key. So the sisters had no way of shutting it off! It flooded up over the steps and out the door onto the carpet. There was quite the puddle on the floor once we got there but they had contained it haha. It was about 45 minutes til the baptism so we set up some fans and soaked up the water with some towels. Jeremy walked in and was pretty confused as to what was happening. It was honestly one of the funniest things ever and I wish I would've been there for the full story haha! Dont worry, the Bishop gave us a tutorial afterwards on how to fill the font 👍Exchanges went well! I was with Hermana Green in her area. I got to do some more Spanish work! We went to a Spanish book of Mormon class and they asked me to read out loud.... It was a little rough. But I'm still working towards my goal of becoming an Hermana by August! ;) In other exciting news, Sister Baggetts brother got his mission call last week to South Africa, Johannesburg! He opened his call live on Facebook so we were able to watch it. Isnt technology the best? Oh! I feel like I received a calling in the YSA ward.  Not only am I a missionary, but I am now the ward chorister.  I have lead the music in Sacrament meeting 3 weeks in a row! I don't even know if I'm doing it right... but no one watches anyways right? Right.  In my interview with President this week he asked the question, "What does the Book of Mormon mean to you?"  I've thought a lot about it this week and its something that I encourage all of you to really think about! It amazes me that words on a page can make our hearts feel something so strong.  The power in the Book of Mormon is unreal! It truly is a gift from God.  Its the missing piece of the puzzle.  And I really can't imagine my life without it.  I'm grateful for my mission and the opportunity that I have had to really grow my testimony of the Book of Mormon.  Its true! And I love it :)
Love all of you! Happy Memorial Day!!Love, Sister Jensen
