We didn't have a car this week because it was in the shop getting the scratches fixed up. But we didn't scratch it! It was like that when we got here haha. Hopefully we'll get it back tomorrow. Because sister Baggett has a torn meniscus and partial torn pateller tendon.... she's getting surgery on it when she gets home. Poor girl.
Some pretty cool things happened this week! The Spanish Elders in the area called us and told us they met one of our investigators, Roxy. But Roxy said we hadn't been around in a while. We didn't even know about her!! So of course we immediately went to meet her. She wanted to know if people could join our church later in life or if they have to be born into it. She was pleased to hear that all are welcome! She had lost her Book of Mormon and so we were able to give her another one and we'll be going back to see her!
Another miracle was the other night we were walking down the street and a young girl was outside walking back into her house. She kind of stopped and stared at us so we said hi and she said, "are you the Mormon girls?" Turns out, the sisters before us had met her and given her a Book of Mormon and she's been reading it! So we set up a time to go and see her as well.
We keep finding these people that we didn't know about! I know that God truly puts people in our paths for a reason. His work will get done one way or another!
We laid some more Sod this week! I'm thinking about starting a business with it when I get home ;)
We were able to watch the "Be One" Broadcast the other night with the YSA members. It was so good! Dang if the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang like that at General Conference, it would be a PARTY! Can you even imagine?? Can I get a Hallelujah? It really was amazing though.
I'm super sorry that I didn't take more pics this week. But please enjoy this pic that I took at Walmart today.
I hope everyone has a good week! Much love. God Bless.
Love, Sister Jensen
